Третьего февраля умер 35-летний Кирилл Толмацкий. Друзья и знакомые сейчас обсуждают лучшие моменты его творческой карьеры. Они вспомнили и о короткой, но яркой истории коллеги артиста, певицы Марины Симановской, прославившейся благодаря трекам «Вечеринка» и «Письмо».

Марина Симановская родилась в селе Сухой Карабулак Саратовской области и начала петь с детства. Она смогла выделиться из толпы музыкальных коллективов 90-х, став лидером первой женской рэп-группы «Белый шоколад». В многообразии поп-культуры шаг к новому стилю привел певицу к самому знаменитому продюсеру того времени, Владу Валову. Он сразу понял, что высокий голос Марины подойдет для создания нового трека Децла, который только начинал свой путь в хип-хопе.
Симановская не была замечена в скандалах, у нее не было богатых родителей. Но стремление к творчеству двигало исполнительницу вперед. Ее вокал можно услышать в композиции «Вечеринка». Когда певица увидела текст трека «Письмо», она начала репетировать припев в студии. Пяти минут хватило продюсеру для того, чтобы получить идеальную, на его взгляд, запись. Марина даже не знала, что ее попытку сразу зафиксировали на пленку.
«Понимаешь, я ее записал, когда она этого не знала, и получилось именно то, что было нужно. Мне нравился ее голос — высокий и слабый. Нет, другой синоним нужен. Высокий и нежный. В нем были хрипотца и жалость», — рассказывал Влад Валов.

Влад Валов вспоминал, что группа «Белый шоколад», созданная благодаря знакомству коллектива с Александром Толмацким, сама занималась написанием песен. Лия сочиняла тексты, Марина — лирические припевы. Будущая выпускница «Фабрики звезд-5» Валерия Голубева была «моторчиком» коллектива. Но их дебют на сцене был неудачным, исполнительниц закидали пластиковыми бутылками. Поэтому работа с Кириллом Толмацким буквально спасла Симановскую, дав ей надежду на большое будущее.
17 ноября 2001 года Марина Симановская вместе с Децлом получила Гран-при за «Письмо» на «Золотом граммофоне». Но сняться в клипе она отказалась из-за его сюжета. Главная героиня должна была отрезать себе волосы и побрить голову, а у Марины были шикарные темные кудри, и она не захотела с ними расставаться. Поэтому для съемок нашли похожую на нее модель.
Ходили слухи о романе Децла с певицей, что никак не подтвердилось. Марина оставалась в тени артиста и мечтала о развитии. Но этому не суждено было случиться, ведь как гром среди ясного неба прогремел смертельный диагноз: рак головного мозга. Влад Валов поделился, что ему было очень обидно, ведь группа только начала раскручиваться. За девять месяцев болезни Симановская пережила две операции и двадцать пять сеансов лучевой терапии. «17 декабря 2001 года дочка нам сказала, что ее нужно вечером отвезти на репетицию нового клипа. Но потом у нее в первый раз разболелась голова. Раньше болей не было. Мы уложили ее поспать. Стал будить, но разбудить не могу. Марина впала в кому», — рассказывал отец исполнительницы Игорь Симановский.
Уже ничто не могло спасти Марину, которая мужественно переносила все прошлые процедуры, не проронив при близких ни одной слезы. Повторная операция не дала результата, и певицу выписали домой. До последнего она писала трогательные стихи. Четвертого апреля 2002 года Марина Симановская умерла на руках у безутешных родителей.
«На ее похороны пришло людей столько, что ты даже представить себе не можешь! Не меньше, чем у Децла! И откуда все узнали? Ведь не было еще ни социальных сетей, ни быстрого интернета. Замену ей в коллективе мы и не пытались найти. «Белый шоколад» держался только на шарме голоса Маруси, продолжать без нее было бессмысленно. Жестоко так говорить, но в каком-то плане Кириллу было проще — он не мучился так долго, как Маруся. Он оставил после себя восемь альбомов и стал культовым голосом своего поколения. А Маруся… Ей не хватило совсем «децл» до славы. Иногда я размышляю философски, значит, так тому и быть», — поделился Влад Валов.

Самым близким человеком для Симановской оставался отец, который поддерживал ее с самого детства. Для него стало ударом, что любимая дочь скончалась так рано, в 23. Горе подтачивало Игоря Симановского, пока его не сгубил рак в 2017 году. Продюсер Валов сдержал обещание, данное папе Маруси, — из демо-версий он собрал по крупицам ее посмертный альбом «Девочка джунглей». Память о преждевременно ушедшей певице бережно хранят ее коллеги и друзья.
